Siya Oum is a 20-year veteran of the industry. I have to think that’s why their project stood out to me so much. Then there’s their project video. It’s rare to have a video that just feels inviting. Hearing Oum break down their story, while they work on it, just felt genuine. I wanted to know more because of it. Due to that, I couldn’t ignore their work, just flat out amazing, their art style and use of colors really make this cyberpunk world they’ve created stand out, and I needed to have more.

$66,000. That’s how much this project has amassed, and it still has 26 days to go. I have been on a Cyberpunk dive lately, then I found this project and I couldn’t get my eyes off of it. The story follows Replicants that coexist with human society, looked at as blessings or, on the other hand, demons. It’s a simple premise, but the best kinds of stories can be, and following the project’s art, character designs, and just amazing world building and design, it’s a project worth checking out!

Journey to the Quest: An Animated Pilot

The short-form comedy web animation is coming to wide screen! Because the journey is often more important than the destination.

Move over, Critical Role. A new TTRPG animated series is on the horizon. Full stop. Journey to the Quest has been a unique experience for the tabletop community, something we really haven’t seen before. Watching it blow up through TikToks and YouTube Shorts has not only been brilliant but also the perfect reflection of how entertainment works in 2025.

The point, readers, is that for this project to reach over $300,000 backed and counting goes to show that fans are more than willing to put their money where their mouth is. It proves that independent creators, whether on TikTok or YouTube, can go toe to toe with some of the biggest companies in the game.

It has heart, soul, a funny cast, and—best of all—lovable characters that make fans want more. And to take it to the point of making a real show? Now it’s on the widescreen with fantastic animation, stunning art, and a detailed creative process behind it. Not to mention, it’s a big FU to AI, and I can’t express the joy I see in its creation. I give it my highest recommendation. And if you’re a fan of TTRPGs, Critical Role, and beyond, you need to back this project before its final three days are up.

So I suggest you check out this project and see why they’ve already raised over $2,000 for their project.

The excitement for this series is palpable; over $300,000 has been raised for this Kickstarter, 6 times its original goal. I mean, what else can we say? People want their cat vigilantes, especially after 30 years of anticipation for something new. The best part is it’s not just some cheap reboot, the art is PHENOMENAL. It is unapologetic with its cartoon/comic art style, and it pays off in droves.
