The Colorado Buffaloes have officially unveiled a new Nike DT Max ‘96 sneaker for Shedeur Sanders, and, of course, it was in true Deion Sanders extravagant fashion, as always.
A signature sneaker that has long been associated with Deion since it's release in 1996, the shoes are made with leather, and feature an adjustable strap along the mid-foot, along with responsive cushioning. The silhouette comes in many different colorways, but the one most associated with Deion aka Primetime, is the black and white variation, the original of which can go for as much as $1,000 on the secondary market.
In-fact, the Nike DT Max ‘96 is such an influential sneaker in sports/entertainment culture, that musician Kendrick Lamar chose to wear them for his Super Bowl LIX halftime show performance this year.

— Nice Kicks (@nicekicks) April 4, 2025It certainly didn't take very long for Shedeur to wear them either as he showed off the cleat-iteration during his Pro Day showcase earlier this week. As for the actual sneakers, they come dressed in a Buffalo Silver colorway, with various shades of silver scattered throughout in the form of standout accents and overlays.

Meanwhile, Shedeur is coming off a very successful year that saw him completing 74% of his pass attempts and throwing 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns last season.
We'll see what happens soon enough.
