Colorado’s Shilo Sanders signs as undrafted free agent with NFC powerhouse

Shilo Sanders had to wait even longer than Shedeur to get his NFL home.

Deion Sanders' other son officially has his team, though, after signing as an undrafted free agent Saturday night.

Shilo is signing as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The Bucs didn't take Shilo during the draft, but they made sure he got his NFL opportunity on the same day as his brother.

The signing was reported less than a half hour after the final pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Shilo's a legitimate NFL defensive back prospect. On a pick-six during his Colorado career, he returned the ball for a touchdown at a max speed of 21.5 miles per hour.

In 2024, Shilo had 67 tackles. He began his college career at South Carolina, then went to Jackson State with his father before following to Colorado.

The Buccaneers have a defensive-minded coach, Todd Bowles, who must've liked what he saw in Shilo's tape from Colorado.

Whether Shilo makes it in the NFL will be up to him, just like Shedeur controls his own destiny, too.

They both have their NFL teams.

Now they'll try to make some brotherly progress together, one in the Midwest and one in Florida.
