Colin Kaepernick and his partner Nessa Diab since 2015, and the radio host recently announced that they are married.

The TV personality made the announcement in a July video post on Instagram.

“I’m not Colin’s girlfriend or roommate or whatever — I’m his wife,” she said in the video as she addressed how she was referred to in the media in relation to Kaepernick.

She recently told TMZ on Wednesday, Aug. 6 that they got married, "years ago!"

The couple welcomed their daughter in 2022.

Nessa Diab defends Colin Kaepernick

Diab came to Kaepernick's defense amid rapper Nicki Minaj's recent comments on her own personal dealings with Jay-Z. The Pink Friday rapper accused Jay of doing  "a lot of evil to black ppl & you stayed silent. We used to believe you.”

The radio personality chimed in with a video on her own experience.

"@NICKIMINAJ sharing her experiences of dealing with similar smear campaigns from them and people questioning her," Nessa said on IG.

Kaepernick formerly played for the San Francisco 49ers as a quarterback before his 2016 protest amid police brutality. Since the protest, he has not played professionally.

"I believe what she said, because I saw them do similar manipulative tactics behind the scenes against Kaepernick when they partnered with the NFL on the back of Colin's protest."

Diab went on to X to share her grievances towards the ongoing issue.

"I called them all out YEARS ago and so many people were scared to say it publicly, but would tell me how they agreed with me privately. Smh Roc Nation apparently took $5 million a year over 5 years to bury the growing protest, AND specifically help them 'move beyond the controversy around teams' unwillingness to sign Kaepernick,'" she wrote.

"Desiree even said, 'We love that everybody wants to be on the stage, that we've completely changed the conversation to fighting for it versus boycotting. We've come a long way,'" she continued, referencing Desiree Perez, who is a co-founder of  Roc Nation. "She got her pardon by Trump - no coincidence the NFL owners are his buddies and also donated millions to his campaign. I still don’t watch that league or whoever is performing at whatever game they have playing. #stillwithkap #FOREVER."

In 2019, Kaepernick settled his collusion grievances against the NFL for an undisclosed amount.
