A former AEW star has predicted a future match involving Cody Rhodes. The Undisputed WWE Champion is set to resume his feud with Drew McIntyre.
At Saturday Night's Main Event, Rhodes faced off against reigning NXT Champion Oba Femi. It was a fresh matchup meant to showcase the future of the WWE during John Cena's retirement event.
Multiple WWE legends and Hall of Famers were in attendance, including Mark Henry, who spent three years at AEW from 2021 to 2024. Henry is currently signed to a WWE Legends deal.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, The World's Strongest Man shared a ringside video from his seat at SNME. He also praised the match between Rhodes and Femi, predicting that it will happen again down the line, possibly for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

"As I sat ringside and watched Oba Femi and Cody Rhodes, all I could see was that match again for the title one day. But not just for the sake of showing champions vs. champions but for all the marbles. Maybe you see Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi for the WWE Title. That's how impressive it was to see those two guys work. Looking forward to the future," Henry said. The match between Rhodes and Femi ended in a no-contest after McIntyre attacked the Undisputed WWE Champions. Rhodes and Femi ended up double-teaming McIntyre, with The American Nightmare raising the hands of The Ruler afterward.
Cody Rhodes attacks Drew McIntyre at his home
In an exclusive footage by WWE, Cody Rhodes made things more personal with Drew McIntyre. SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis was negotiating McIntyre's return from suspension when Rhodes arrived at The Scottish Psychopath's house.
Rhodes attacked McIntyre as everything turned chaotic. The American Nightmare had to be restrained by security, so it will be interesting to see how things will play out this Friday on SmackDown.
The bitter rivals are likely set to battle for the Undisputed WWE Championship again. The Royal Rumble is set for January 31, 2026 in Saudi Arabia. It's the first Premium Live Event of the year, so the company could put together a very stacked card.
