"My brothers Codey and Cameron are definitely my biggest support" - Coco Gauff on her siblings
Coco Gauff has established herself as one of the best tennis players of her generation in the last few years. The World No. 3 is only 21 and has already won 21 tour-level titles, including three majors and one WTA Finals.
Speaking to Vogue in April this year, Gauff credited her brothers for her success on the court. She revealed that her brothers have played a big role in her success, and added that she felt "pressure less" having them around.
"My brothers Codey and Cameron are definitely my biggest support, and they always root for me. And humble me," Gauff said. "When I do well, they’re still going to make fun of me. And when I do bad, they’re still going to make fun of me. "Sometimes, when you’re competing, you feel like you’re putting your whole life into whatever match you’re playing and that the odds are life or death, that’s what’s on the line. But obviously, it’s not. Having people like them around makes you feel that pressure less."Coco Gauff led Team USA to its second United Cup victory earlier this year and followed it with her maiden French Open title. She also won in Wuhan to clinch her third WTA 1000 title and finished the season as the World No. 3.
