Coco Gauff makes bold Christmas confession after early celebration with boyfriend Jalen Sera and family

Coco Gauff recently made a bold confession with Christmas Day of 2025 fast approaching. According to Gauff, even though this year's Christmas is still on the horizon, it already has been the 'favorite' Christmas experience of her life so far. The World No. 3's confession included pictures from a recent celebration involving herself, boyfriend Jalen Sera and her family as well.

On Monday, December 22, the two-time singles Major champion took to her Instagram Stories and shared a heartwarming post. It featured a picture of 11 polaroid photos, which showed Gauff, Sera and several others partaking in an early Christmas celebration. Laying bare her confession through the in-post caption, the 21-year-old wrote:

"This year has been my fav Christmas since I was a kid and it's not even Christmas yet ❤️"

2025 also marked the first year for Coco Gauff as a homeowner celebrating Christmas. As a result, the World No. 3 left no stone unturned to decorate her place as well as she could to usher in the festive period. She shared the updates through multiple Instagram Stories (now-disappeared) earlier in December and expressed her excitement about it via the captions, writing:

"Put up my first tree being a homeowner ♡ lol last year I didn’t decorate"

She added in another post:

"Even did my bedroom a little bit lol & yes purple is my fav color"

On the tennis front, Gauff experienced a rather bittersweet ending to her competitive outings in the 2025 tennis season. While the American won the WTA 1000 Wuhan Open title in style without dropping a set, her title defense at the year-end WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ended early with two losses in three Round Robin phase matches.

Coco Gauff is set to soon leave her Christmas 2025 celebrations behind her as the beginning of the 2026 tennis season is almost upon us. Gauff's first competitive outing of the new season is slated to come at the United Cup in Australia, a mixed team tennis event.

Last year, Gauff, along with American ATP star Taylor Fritz, played an instrumental role in Team USA clinching the United Cup title. Both players have been named in the team once again for the 2026 edition of the tournament.

The 2026 United Cup is scheduled to commence on Friday, January 2, with matches taking place spanning the Australian cities of Perth and Sydney.
