CM Punk regained the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event after beating Jey Uso. Punk received a message from a new champion after the match, following his post on Instagram.
After losing the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam to Seth Rollins, Punk has been on a quest to win it back. He earned the opportunity last month after beating "Main Event" Jey and LA Knight in a triple threat match on RAW.
With Rollins vacating the title due to an injury, The Yeet Master earned the right to face The Second City Saint after winning a battle royal. At SNME, Punk withstood Jey's onslaught to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
In a post on Instagram, CM Punk celebrated his title win by sharing an image of himself, along with fellow AEW alumni Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill and Ricky Saints. Cargill replied to Punk by sharing the post on her IG stories and dropping a three-word message.

CM Punk's photo missing more former AEW stars with WWE gold
In addition to CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill and Ricky Saints, there are a couple of former AEW stars who also hold gold in WWE. "All Ego" Ethan Page is the current NXT North American Champion, while the former Mariah May, now known as Blake Monroe, is the NXT Women's North American Champion.
Technically, Stephanie Vaquer and Dragon Lee also wrestled for AEW before signing with WWE. However, they weren't officially under contracts, unlike the six stars mentioned above.
Vaquer is the reigning Women's World Champion, while Lee is one-half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside AJ Styles. Other former AEW stars in WWE today include Shawn Spears, Rusev, Aleister Black, Lexis King, Penta and Rey Fenix.
