WWE Hall of Famer Kane has a Christmas update for his people at Knox County, Tennessee. The Big Red Machine is currently in his second term as county mayor.
Before becoming a politician, Kane was one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. He had multiple gimmicks before striking gold as the brother of The Undertaker. His career began in 1992 and has not officially retired despite getting inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.
In a post by the Knox County Government on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kane delivered a Christmas message to his constituents as Mayor Glenn Jacobs.
"This Christmas, I hope your pink bunny suit fits just right. I hope your leg lamp shines bright. I hope the bar of lifebuoy doesn't taste too bitter. I hope you don't stick your tongue on a flagpole in the middle of winter. I hope Santa brings you a Red Ryder carbine action 200 shot range mile air rifle, just remember to wear your safety glasses. But most of all, I hope your Christmas is filled with peace and goodwill. From all of us here in Knox County, Merry Christmas," Jacobs said.Glenn Jacobs' second term as mayor ends in August 2026. He was rumored to be eyeing a gubernatorial seat, but he declined and endorsed incumbent United States senator, Marsha Blackburn.
Kane comments on Mick Foley's decision to leave WWE
Mick Foley announced two weeks ago that he'll be leaving WWE due to its continued association and support for U.S. president Donald Trump. Foley couldn't bear what Trump said about Rob Reiner and his wife's death, which was also condemned by other Republicans.
Speaking on Newsmax earlier this week, Kane was asked to give his reaction to Foley's decision.
"Well, certainly it's no surprise. I know where Mick is at politically, and we've had our discussions about politics, and we've always been able to keep them civil, and I wish that could happen more on the public platforms altogether. One thing is we live in a country where we are free to disagree about things, and I think Mick is wrong, but nevertheless, he’s entitled to his opinion. I will defend his right to say that, even if I do think he's wrong, and that’s the beauty of America," the mayor said. [H/T Sports Illustrated]Kevin Nash, who is also a Trump critic, understood Foley's decision, but he won't be following him because he still considers WWE as his family.
