It was a rough day for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, as not only did they lose to the Denver Broncos, the Packers also saw some key players suffer injuries.
One of those players was wide receiver Christian Watson, who went down with a shoulder injury after Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain landed on him.
While it looked serious at first with Watson clearly in a lot of pain, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Packers wideout has avoided a serious injury.
"Packers standout WR Christian Watson, who went down yesterday holding his shoulder, did not suffer a major injury, sources say," Rapoport reported.
Watson's injury came on the same day the Packers lost linebacker Micah Parsons for the season. Parsons is feared to have suffered a torn ACL, but tests will confirm that on Monday.
