Comedian Chris Rock hit the beach in Los Angeles wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt draped around his neck as a blistering heat wave descended on the city.
The 61-year-old looked comically out of sync with the Southern California sun while strolling along the Venice Beach boardwalk Tuesday.
The getup appeared true to his roots in New York, where temperatures were a good 60 degrees colder than LA.
Rock was last spotted mingling at the WME Pre-Oscars Toast at the Chateau Marmont on Friday.
It wasn’t clear if he attended Sunday’s Academy Awards, where he infamously suffered a slap at the hand of actor Will Smith in 2022 following a joke about his wife.
In the aftermath, Smith received a decade-long ban from the Oscars for his own controversial reaction.
