For the second time in four weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to take the "Monday Night Football" stage. In Week 8, it's a showdown with the Washington Commanders from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City has won two in a row to move to 4-3 on the season, and it's looking to make it three straight wins to keep pace in the AFC West. Washington enters Week 8 with a 3-4 record, but it faces a tough task as starting quarterback Jayden Daniels will be sidelined with a hamstring injury.

With Daniels unavailable, the Commanders will lean on 31-year-old Marcus Mariota, who is set to make his third start of the season. On the other side of things, the Chiefs are trending upward, as Patrick Mahomes is spreading the wealth across the offense; in Week 7, the return of Rashee Rice meant nine different players caught at least one pass, and Mahomes went 26-of-35 for 286 yards and three passing touchdowns.

There will be plenty of eyes on the primetime matchup in KC, and The Sporting News will be tracking live updates and highlights from the action. Follow along below.
