For the second week in a row, Arrowhead Stadium will host Kansas City Chiefs football. Tonight, they'll face the Indianapolis Colts, who are coming off a 41-23 blowout loss to the Ravens in Week 1

Things kicked off slowly for Patrick Mahomes in his first game back from a brutal left knee injury that ended his 2025 campaign early. He went 1-for-4 in the first quarter, but did score the game's first touchdown thanks to a six-yard rushing effort. The star of the show was easily RB acquisition Kenneth Walker. The Super Bowl 60 MVP tallied a whopping 191 total yards, almost half of his team's 404 offensive yards, and two touchdowns on 23 carries and three receptions.

Coach Andy Reid featured Walker heavily in his first game with his new squad, which also helped Mahomes acclimate to NFL game speed in his first game since 2025 Week 15. The Colts let Derrick Henry rush all over them for 144 yards on the ground with three touchdowns, so another big game for Walker could be on the menu again.

Despite a ferocious defense, Jonathan Taylor still managed 121 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns of his own, but QB Daniel Jones wasn't phenomenal (19-of-31, 166 PYds, 1 TD, 1 INT). Jones and Co. have a brutal first three games to start the season, and it may be hard to walk away victorious with a win against Kansas City or Houston next week. Last year at Arrowhead, Indy narrowly lost 23-20 in overtime; it may be hard to replicate that effort with how good the Chiefs looked in Week 1, but Sunday night football always brings some fireworks.
