The Kansas City Chiefs were blown out in Week 7 by the Seattle Seahawks, with the 20-3 score being an underrepresentation of how poorly the Chiefs played, especially on offense.

But while Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker III both struggled, Travis Kelce was able to make some personal history by climbing two all-time NFL leaderboards.

The two categories Kelce has made history in are all-time receptions during the regular season and all-time receiving yards by a tight end. He's climbed the leaderboards in both categories, including becoming No. 1 all-time in one of them.

Travis Kelce climbs NFL receptions and receiving yards leaderboards despite Week 7 loss

Underdog NFL shared that Kelce is now the all-time receiving yards leader among tight ends, including the regular season and playoffs combined.

Kelce now has 15,423 receiving yards during his NFL career in the regular and postseason, with only Tony Gonzalez remotely close, sitting at 15,413 for his career.

No other tight end in NFL history is within 1,000 yards of either, with Jason Witten coming in at 13,532 yards in third place all time. Kelce now has this record on his own, adding his 2,078 playoff yards to his 13,345 yards in the regular season for the new TE NFL record.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo also shared the updated all-time regular-season receptions leaderboard, with Kelce's mark of 1,104 surpassing Marvin Harrison for No. 5 all-time, behind only Witten, Gonzalez, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jerry Rice.

Considering he has 178 playoff receptions, his 1,282 total catches place him just ahead of Witten at 1,273 receptions (regular + postseason), but still behind Gonzalez, Fitzgerald, and Rice.

While the Week 7 loss was a tough one, Kelce made some impressive NFL history in the process, becoming the all-time receiving yards leader among tight ends in the regular season and the playoffs, and climbing into the top five in receptions as well.
