The Kansas City Chiefs have been active in free agency, with the franchise adding Kenneth Walker to bolster its running back stocks.
But they have also lost a host of quality defensive starters as well, with Andy Reid and Brett Veach now needing to address several issues.
Free agency offers up some interesting avenues for teams to go down as they look for players to build out their rosters, and when it comes to the Chiefs, they could look at one player who could make a mountain of difference.
CBS Sports' Jordan Dajani has named the Chiefs as a landing spot for star defensive end Cam Jordan.
"The New Orleans Saints star is looking to play his 16th NFL season, and it could be his first away from New Orleans,” Dajani wrote.
“The Chiefs have lost plenty on the defensive side of the ball this offseason, including Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, Bryan Cook, Leo Chenal, Charles Omenihu and Derrick Nnadi. Kansas City could score Jordan on a cheap deal as the Chiefs look to rebound in 2026.”

Is Jordan a realistic target?
If his future is truly not in New Orleans, then the Chiefs should absolutely look at bringing in Jordan.
At 36 years old last season, he posted 10. 5 sacks along with 15 quarterback hits and 15 tackles for loss. That is a lot of production.
The Chiefs could use someone who can help Chris Jones, and with Jordan and Jones lining up together, offenses can't double-team, meaning someone is getting a one-on-one.
Kansas City needs defensive help, and in Jordan, a cheap, veteran option could be the way to go.
