Chiefs’ cornerback Jaylen Watson joined a growing list of sports stars who have had their homes broken into.
Watson revealed on social media that he arrived home after the Chiefs’ 26-9 loss to the Titans to find his house had been burglarized.
“Welp get home and my house got broken into,” he wrote on X, though he didn’t provide any further information.
The post received a number of responses as fans offered support to the Chiefs star.
“That’s messed up. Hopefully the Ghost of #Christmas future will pay whoever did it a visit. People can be real blanks. Hope everything turns out okay,” one person wrote in response to the post.
“Sad man, hope they find who did it!” a second person added.

Steve Roberts-Imagn ImagesWatson isn’t the first Chiefs player to have their homes burglarized, as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes had their houses broken into last year as part of a larger scheme that targeted pro athletes across the country.
Break-ins at star athletes’ homes have been in the headlines recently, too.
Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu had the Southern California home she shares with her husband, and former NFL offensive lineman, Hroniss Grasu, broken into last week when two burglars busted in through a glass window and ransacked the residence.
Ionescu and Grasu were not home at the time.
Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons had his home burglarized the day before Ionescu and he said that “multiple items were taken.”
Simmons lambasted the people who broke into his home as “f–king cowards.”

Watson is in his fourth season with the Chiefs after he was taken in the seventh round by Kansas City in 2022.
