The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be an interesting watch in the NFL Draft, as Brett Veach has two first-round picks to work with.
At No. 9 and No. 29, the Chiefs have a lot of options on the board, and exactly where the franchise will go is a great conversation starter. Some think corner, given Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson moving on in free agency, while others think the offensive line and receiver should be targets as well.
The beauty of the two first-round picks is that the Chiefs, in all likelihood, will fill two of those holes early on in the draft, leaving other picks to fill out the roster.
For NFL.com's Kevin Patra, there are some questions over the offense entering the draft.
"Xavier Worthy hasn’t become an every-down playmaker, and Rashee Rice has been on the field for just 12 games the past two years," Patra wrote. "With two first-round picks, will one target a big-play WR? Do the Chiefs finally bring in Travis Kelce’s eventual heir at tight end?"

Should Chiefs go offense?
Ultimately, the draft board will dictate that for the Chiefs.
With corner a need, Mansoor Delane could be available at No. 9, but so could receiver Jordyn Tyson or Carnell Tate, so how the Chiefs approach it will be interesting.
If both Delane and Tyson are still on the board at No 9, Andy Reid and Veach will have a big decision to make. Get a starting corner for Steve Spagnuolo? Or get Patrick Mahomes another weapon?
Of course, the Chiefs could also go pass rusher with someone like Rueben Bain Jr. at No. 9 as well, so there are plenty of options, and in truth, Kansas City could go in any direction.
And that's what makes the first-round of the draft so intriguing.
