With a spot in next year’s UEFA Champions League on the line, Chelsea are set to take on Nottingham Forest in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday.
Though the Blues managed to beat Manchester United in the penultimate game of the season on Friday, they need a win to guarantee a place in next season’s elite European club competition.
Chelsea’s win over United was even more commendable given that they played without a recognised striker, as Tyrique George started the game up front as a false nine.
Chelsea were left to play the last two games of the season after Nicolas Jackson was sent off against Newcastle United for elbowing Sven Botman in the face.
However, Enzo Maresca has received a double injury boost ahead of the game on Sunday that could help him solve the striker situation
According to the Evening Standard, both Christopher Nkunku and Marc Guiu could return in time for the trip to the City Ground.

The Spaniard has not featured since the start of February, whereas Nkunku has not featured in the last five Premier League games.
Speaking after the game against United, Maresca said that George could once again feature as a false nine against Nottingham Forest, despite it being just the youngster’s first Premier League start.
However, with the physical challenge that the Forest centre-backs pose, having a natural number nine would likely be his preferred solution.
Given the striker situation at Chelsea, it will be interesting to see who Maresca picks as his forward for the final game of the season on Sunday.
