Charlie Hall is ready to check into “The White Lotus” Season 4.
The 29-year-old actor, who is currently starring on Apple TV’s “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” exclusively told The Post his first phone call after learning he’d landed the hit HBO series was to his mom, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
“I told her I got it. She was with my dad [former “SNL” cast member Brad Hall], and I heard her put the phone down and talk to my dad, like, ‘Charlie got it! He got it! He got it!”
Hall said he thinks the “Veep” star was “trying to keep calm, because I was pretty calm.”
“I was trying not to freak out,” he added. “Especially because you never want to celebrate too much before you’ve done the work.”
Hall’s comedian parents were both “insanely stoked” he’ll be in “The White Lotus” Season 4, which is set in France, because the Mike White series is “one of their favorite shows.”
“They are excited for me to be on a show like that,” he admitted.
In Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” Patrick Schwarzenegger’s character had to kiss his onscreen brother.
When asked if he was worried about potentially doing similar material, Hall said, “I was definitely thinking ‘Oh, I wonder what I’m going to do.’ Or if there’s anything that’s a little raunchy.”
However, he noted it’s such a “wonderful show” and White is such “an amazing writer,” that, as he put it, “I was kind of like, ‘Whatever happens, happens.’”
While Season 4 doesn’t have an announced premiere date yet, Hall is building hype.
“I know I’m biased, but I think it could be really the best one yet. It’s very classic ‘The White Lotus,'” he teased. “Everything feels funny, while still feeling really real. It’s kind of more of the same, in the best way possible, with some twists and turns along the way.”
In the meantime, Hall’s current show is also full of twists.
“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” is a dark comedy following Paula (Tatiana Maslany), a single mom who gets ensnared in a murder plot involving a webcam boy.
Hall plays Rudy, Paula’s co-worker, who gets pulled into her schemes and is along for the ride.
“The Sex Lives of College Girls” actor said he liked “how oscillating in tone” the show — which has garnered praise from horror icon Stephen King — is.
“It could be legitimately scary, or legitimately thrilling or really funny,” Hall said.
Rudy is “the kind of guy that is always looking to joke around, and that’s definitely something that I’m always doing as well,” he shared. “I was like, ‘Oh, OK, great.’ He’s looking to find the joke, and I’ve been doing that since I was like five years old, so that’s perfect.”
Despite growing up in a showbiz family, Hall didn’t immediately know he wanted to act.
“My family is super funny. We’re always doing bits. But it never really struck me that that was something that I would want to do professionally,” he said. “I was obsessed with basketball growing up. So, for the longest time I was like, ‘It’s the NBA or bust!’”
He quipped that he eventually realized “making the NBA is quite difficult” and then “tried out the acting thing, and just fell in love with it.”
“Maximum Pleasure” and “The White Lotus” are on his plate now, but Hall was also in Ryan Murphy’s “Monster” series on Netflix — he was in Season 2 (“Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”) and Season 3 (“Monster: The Ed Gein Story”).
When asked if he could return to future seasons, Hall said, “I would love to.”
Murphy and writer Ian Brennan “took a chance on me in a lot of ways, because ‘Monster’ is a lot more serious than the stuff I had done prior to that,” he said.
“I was stepping out of my comfort zone for that,” Hall continued. “I feel like I have a debt of gratitude to Ryan and the whole camp over there. So, anything they want me to do, I’m 100% there.”
New episodes of “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” are out Wednesdays on Apple TV.
