After a four-game road trip against Western Conference teams, the Charlotte Hornets are coming home for a seven-game stretch. It is one of the longest stretches for any team in the league, so this could be the way the Hornets can elevate themselves in the Eastern Conference's standings.
The team is ready for this homestand after moving around multiple cities in the West. Staying at home could be the stretch the Hornets need to elevate themselves again, as they will feel at home playing in front of the passionate Hornets fans.
The Hornets are ready to have a lengthy stint at home
In the 2025-26 season, the Hornets have been one of the most impressive teams. They have had multiple winning streaks after a slow start to the season. Most people might have counted them out in the first half of the season, but they have continued to shine in the second half.
While they have not been the most impressive team at home with a 14-17 record, they are still quite tough to beat. As players like Bam Adebayo have noted, the fans at Spectrum Center are passionate and are willing to keep fighting for their players.

Since the Hornets will be playing a long stretch at home, they are ready to show out for their fans. It will be a good chance for the Hornets to improve their home record, especially with the ever-increasing support from the fans.
"We've actually played really well on the road, and our record might say differently at home. Our fans are amazing. We will feed off of that, but we also have to make sure that we bring a level of focus and readiness on this homestand," Lee said after losing to the Spurs on Saturday.
"We play a lot of really good competition, and sometimes you can be too comfortable being home for that many days. The road at times makes you uncomfortable, makes you hungry, and we have to have that same hunger at home."
As the Hornets return home, they will be ready to keep fighting. This will be challenging for the players to live up to, but they are a brand new team compared to the one that started the season.
