Charles Barkley clowns Cowboys defense on Inside The NBA

3 hours ago 1

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a dreadful loss to the Denver Broncos in which they gave up 44 points. Their defense is allowing the second-most points per game in the NFL, and they've allowed 30 touchdowns, which is the most in the league.

Dallas, of course, traded Micah Parsons at the end of August, which (rightfully) drew criticism from all walks of life. Now, amidst their defensive struggles, Charles Barkley is having fun at the Cowboys' expense. Speaking on Inside The NBA, Barkley mocked the Cowboys for trading Parsons.

“They have us contractually obligated to talk about the Dallas Cowboys every day even though their defense can’t stop a bloody nose," Barkley said. "Don’t trade your best defensive player and then whine about can’t stop anybody.”

The Cowboys have 15 sacks as a team. Meanwhile, Parsons has 6.5 by himself this season. Dallas will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 and look to get to 4-4-1 and stay in the NFC playoff race.
