Following turbulent games, the Chargers and Vikings are both hoping to get back on track on Thursday Night Football in Week 8.
The Vikings lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in a thrilling 28–22 game, and the Chargers were defeated 38–24 by the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams will be itching to halt the loss and return to winning ways.
Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert was slinging it all over the field, completing 37 of 55 passes (67.3%) for a massive 420 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. With 31 yards on six carries, the Chargers quarterback also showed off his legs.
Carson Wentz had a mixed night under center for Minnesota, finishing 26-for-42 for 313 yards but also throwing two expensive interceptions and missing the end zone through the air. Wentz contributed 28 yards on the ground, while Jordan Mason, who recorded 57 yards and a touchdown on 15 attempts, attempted to keep the chains moving.
