The Los Angeles Chargers have had some major offensive line issues in recent seasons. But once again, the Chargers have lost a key offensive lineman.
This time, Tyler Biadasz, whom they signed this offseason to become their new starting center, is going to miss the entire season due to a serious knee injury.
As the Chargers announced, Biadasz is landing on injured reserve, ending his 2026 season before it even began, in another brutal OL injury for the Chargers prior to the regular season.
Chargers place Tyler Biadasz on season-ending IR
"We've placed C Tyler Biadasz on reserve/injured + signed WR Gary Jennings," the Chargers announced Sunday morning.
Biadasz is going to miss the entire 2026 season by landing on the injured reserve before teams have cut their rosters down to 53 players.
His knee injury is serious, after an opposing defensive lineman fell on his leg during a joint practice against the San Francisco 49ers.

The veteran center signed a three-year, $30 million contract this offseason to join the Chargers and become their new starting center. But now, he's out for the year.
The 28-year-old former Pro Bowler would've been a fantastic addition for Justin Herbert along the offensive line. The Washington Commanders foolishly cut him, and the Chargers got a massive stroke of luck by landing him this offseason.
Unfortunately, Biadasz is now going to miss the entire 2026 season, and the Chargers are going to need Jake Slaughter or one of their other backup linemen to step up.
