Your favorite artist’s favorite artist has made it to the Met.
Chappell Roan, 27, departed The Carlyle hotel for the Met Gala 2025 red carpet, setting social media on fire with an over-the-top pink patchwork suit and matching coat.
Marking her first year at the prestigious event, the “Good Luck, Babe!” singer embraced the night’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which explores the influence of the black dandy, through precise tailoring and eye-catching details such as a feathered trim and sequined stitching.
A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton and Colman Domingo are the co-chairs for this year.
In true Roan fashion, the Grammy-winning musician glammed up her getup with equally head-turning makeup that featured sparkly silver eyeshadow, strong eyeliner, pale skin and pink-hued tear tracks.
Her voluminous red curls complemented the bold beauty moment.
It should come as no surprise that Roan pulled out all the sartorial stops this evening, considering the Missouri native has been taking the red carpet by storm as of late.
At the Grammys 2025, where she was named best new artist, Roan had everyone buzzing with her vintage Jean Paul Gaultier ballgown.
Plucked from the designer’s 2003 couture runway, the number was splashed with ballerinas inspired by French artist Edgar Degas’ popular paintings.
And the gown has even more pop culture history; Beyoncé actually wore the dress first for an Elle shoot 22 years ago, when she was a member of girl group Destiny’s Child.
Meanwhile, in early March, Roan attended her first-ever fashion show, sitting front row at Rabanne during Paris Fashion Week.
She was dressed in a silver metallic two-piece outfit from the luxury label, finishing the look with her hallmark white clown makeup.
She’s shaping up to be a fashion darling.
