Chappell Roan resurfaced with a Coachella 2026 outing weeks after her viral security guard drama.
The singer attended the annual Indio, California, music festival Saturday, ditching her usual bold makeup for the low-key appearance.
The 28-year-old was photographing sporting a pirate-inspired look consisting of a gold and black vest, a brown belt, a tiered skirt and brown cowboy boots.
The Grammy winner, who accessorized with multiple rings and a colorful bracelet, appeared to be solo as she walked among fellow attendees.
Roan was thrust into the headlines last month when Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter Ada’s stepfather, Brazilian soccer star Jorginho, blasted the songwriter via Instagram.
Jorginho claimed Ada was berated by a “large” security guard at a hotel for walking by where the musician was eating breakfast to confirm it was her.
“My daughter got super scared and cried a lot,” Jorginho told his followers. “Honestly, I don’t know in what world just passing by a table and looking … can be considered harassment.”

“Without your fans you would be nobody,” he continued, directly addressing Roan. “And to the fans, she does not deserve your affection.”
Roan denied the security guard was a member of her team and said she had not been approached by Ada, insisting in an Instagram Story that it “is crazy” to assume she “hate[s] children.”
Security guard Pascal Duvier later took full responsibility for the interaction with Ada and her mom, Catherine Harding, and said he was not acting on behalf of Roan.
Duvier alleged in an Instagram post that he “made a judgment call based on information obtained from the hotel, events he had witnessed in the days prior and the heightened overall security risk of the location.”
He added, “My sole interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions, and the outcome of the encounter is regretful.”
Roan has had a complicated relationship with fame since the start of her career, from confronting photographers to calling out “weird” and “entitled” fans.
