Chaos breaks out on SmackDown after Drew McIntyre shockingly attacks WWE official

Drew McIntyre just attacked a WWE official. This resulted in utter chaos on SmackDown.

After defeating Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night's Main Event, Cody Rhodes kicked off tonight's episode of SmackDown by addressing the fans. He thought tonight would be an easy night for him. However, Aleister Black interrupted him and said he has a huge chip on his shoulder about the size of the Undisputed WWE Championship. Following this, Zelina Vega stepped in between them and slapped Cody. This prompted Nick Aldis to come out and book a match between two men in the main event.

During the match, both men gave it everything in a physical contest. However, the match ended after McIntyre showed up suddenly and hit the referee with the Claymore. Cody Rhodes jumped on Drew and attacked him. Aleister Black and McIntyre joined together and attacked the American Nightmare. Damian Priest came out to make the save. At the end of the segment, it was the babyfaces who stood tall.

Konnan urges WWE to put the title on Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has been one of the most consistent performers in the WWE. He has competed in several title matches over the past year, but he always manages to come up short. His most recent title match was against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event, where he lost again.

Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 Official podcast, Konnan urged WWE to put the World Title on Drew.

"I agree they should put the title on Drew McIntyre. Enough already, as Disco [Inferno] would say. Already in shape, looks like a star. Thank God they got rid of that cheesy sword that you knew he would never use; and it was named after his mother, something like that. Come on, dude. He can talk. He works social media perfectly.
