One-time top recruit Charles Bassey was a star for the Boston Celtics in Summer League.

He isn't sticking around to see if he gets a contract offer. Bassey is heading overseas.

Eurohoops reports that Bassey has several European teams interested in him, but he's leaning toward signing with KK Partizan in Serbia.

“Charles is honored by the interest shown by Basketball Club Partizan,” his agent Mark McNeil told Meridian Sport. “He is definitely considering the offer and will continue discussions with the club and his representative. Other European clubs have also contacted him, but Partizan has been his priority.”

In Vegas, Bassey put up 15.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game while shooting 70.4% from the field.

Bassey was previously a second-round pick by the 76ers. He spent a year in Philadelphia and then three seasons with the Spurs.

Last season in the NBA, Bassey appeared in 36 games, putting up 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest.

Partizan has a loaded roster that already includes former NBA players Shake Milton, Jabari Parker, Isaac Bonga, Aleksej Pokusevski, Frank Ntilikina and Carlik Jones.

Bassey may be next.
