The Boston Celtics are now waist-deep in the race to trade for Milwaukee Bucks franchise superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, and neck-and-neck with the Miami Heat. There are also other teams in the race, but the Celtics can offer something no other team can: Finals MVP and multi-time All-Star Jaylen Brown.
Brown is becoming a centerpiece in a potential three-team trade, with the Celtics getting Giannis, the TBD third team getting Brown, and the Bucks getting assets. Luckily, there’s a couple teams to guess at who would be perfect candidates to make this happen.

The Trail Blazers made it to the playoffs for the first time since the 2020-21 season, and unluckily faced the future Western Conference champs in the San Antonio Spurs. They lost, but they were able to take a game with the roster they have.
Enter Jaylen Brown. Brown would become the two-way superstar guard they need, and the team could rally around him. Brown, Deni Avdija, and Damian Lillard upon his return would create a new big three in the West, and make the Blazers real contenders.
Here’s what makes them perfect: they have nine first-round draft picks from 2028-2033. Three of them are Bucks picks they could give back, and another is a Celtics pick they could throw in. Throw in Jerami Grant or a player on his level, and this deal is easy to make.
The Atlanta Hawks aren’t far off either

The Hawks were another team floated as a possible third option, as they too own a lot of picks and stars they could hand over to the Bucks. They took the future Eastern Conference Champions in the New York Knicks to six games, and were the last team to beat them until the Finals.
Getting Brown would give them a second superstar aside from Jalen Johnson, giving them a real shot at contending. They could trade a few first rounders, all their second rounders that weren’t theirs originally, and a guy like Jonathan Kuminga or CJ McCollum, depending on what Milwaukee wants.
Either of these teams could work for Boston and Milwaukee, and set up a blockbuster three-team trade. Hopefully, Boston convinces one of the two to work with them, and get this move in the works.
