Celestial Research Day Field Research and Timed Research: Pokemon GO tasks and rewards

During Celestial Research Day in Pokemon GO, trainers will get to participate in Field Research tasks and a Paid Timed Research questline. Lunatone and Solrock will be available from the former as potential reward encounters, while the latter will also have Stardust and XP along with these two pocket monsters.

Celestial Research Day takes place in Pokemon GO from 2 pm local time to 5 pm local time on Saturday, December 20, 2025. It features Lunatone and Solrock. Lucky trainers can also encounter their shiny variants. Pokemon GO trainers can also take part in the ongoing Winter Holiday Part 1 event.
