No. 5 Indiana travels to Columbus this weekend to take on No. 2 Ohio State in what is shaping to be one of the most pivotal games this season. Not only does it have huge playoff implications for both teams, but it potentially has a spot in the Big Ten Championship on the line as well.
Indiana enters the game as heavy underdogs, as this will undoubtedly be their toughest test this season. However, one CBS analyst made a very bold prediction regarding this Saturday’s showdown.
“This game will not be too big for Indiana,” Aaron Taylor said. “They believe in themselves, and I believe their front seven can give Ohio State’s offensive line all they want…I think Indiana wins this game. This moment’s not going to be too big for them.”
— CBS Sports College Football 🏈 (@CBSSportsCFB) November 19, 2024Saturday’s game will pit two of the best offenses in the country against each other. While Ohio State has talent across the board, including weapons such as receivers Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka, the Hoosiers enter this game with the second-highest-scoring offense in the country, led by quarterback Kurtis Rourke.
It will be interesting to see how Indiana and Curt Cignetti come out after a bye week. With this game being played in a hostile environment and facing by far the most talented team they’ve seen this season, we’ll see if the Hoosiers can pull off what would be a program-defining win.
