Donovan Mitchell and James Harden didn't even get the chance to have a practice together before taking the court Saturday night for Harden's debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In the fourth quarter, though, the Cavs' new superstar duo showed just how good they can be together.

Cleveland entered the final frame trailing by three points. The Cavs won the game by six.

In the intervening minutes, Mitchell and Harden became the first duo in Cleveland history in the play-by-play era to each score 15 points in the same fourth quarter, according to Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor.

Mitchell actually scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, and Harden had exactly 15.

It was enough for a 39-point quarter for the Cavs and a win over the lowly Sacramento Kings.

Harden finished his debut with 23 points on 7-for-13 from the field, 5-for-8 from 3 and 4-for-4 from the foul line. He added eight assists.

Mitchell totaled 35 points on 13-for-24 from the field (2-8 3FG) and 7-for-7 at the line. He added four assists, two steals and two blocks.

The Cavs also got 29 points and 10 rebounds from Jarrett Allen, and both Jaylon Tyson and Thomas Bryant were in double figures, too.

All eyes were on this game because of Harden, though, and after a quiet first three quarters, he made sure his debut would end in a victory.
