• Oh goodness, we would literally be on the floor crying our hearts out alongside this cat if this happened to us. Just to see the poor feline being dumped in real time is enough to bring big old crocodile tears to our eyes, but then to see how distraught this poor creature was. That she was so frightened it was willing to trust a woman who smelled entirely of dog (an abhorrent smell to feline kind). But at least this frantic feline had someone there by her side to begin comforting her and helping her through the grieving process.

• What a wonderfully sweet creature. We cannot imagine what unreasonable turn of events could have transpired that caused this cute catto to end up being dumped like it was. Especially when it is one of the sweetest and gentlest examples of its species. We could perhaps begin to understand someone who is contending with a handful of a feline who is more commonly found attached to the drapes than carrying socks for attention. But carrying socks? That’s more helpful than it is hurtful. And if you are still reading here, then here is a little easter egg for you that the story does not go on to tell. This cat actually already made it to its furever home. Buried deep in the comments of this post the OP confirms that they have given up the search for new pawrents as they themselves are going to be the new pawrents for this cat child.
