11 hours ago 3

The Minnesota Vikings have an injury concern with quarterback Carson Wentz in the first half of the Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Wentz entered the game with a shoulder injury, which was clearly displayed by the enormous brace he is wearing.

However, it looked like Wentz was holding his wrist as he walked off the field after a drive in the second quarter. If Wentz can't continue, rookie Max Brosmer will get the nod.

Follow our tracker below for all of the latest updates on Wentz's status for the rest of the game against the Chargers.

UPDATE: The Prime Video broadcast revealed that Wentz did not have a formal check-up from the medical staff, so it looks like he will stay in the game.

Wentz is still on the bench and has not gone into the medical tent or back to the locker room. We'll see if he gets back into the game, but he's clearly in immense pain, which does not bode well for his status for the rest of the game.

We'll update this page once more information is known.
