Cara Delevingne Took Taylor Swift on a "Wild Ride" While Living Together

Cara Delevingne debuted her new hair transformation at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival May 21, proving that dark gothic locks will always be timeless.
While at the premiere of her new film The History of Sound, the 32-year-old—who’s known for her brownish blonde bob—turned heads with her jet-black hair. She elevated the cut with blunt bangs, her strands scrunched to give off that wet-hair look. Her new makeover paired well with her deep red ball gown, which she accessorized with minimal silver jewelry.
Cara also flaunted her Beetlejuice-inspired hairstyle on her Instagram Stories, where she posted a selfie of her in the car.
While her dark color is certainly a statement, the cut isn’t new territory for her. In fact, the last time she wore baby blunt bangs was in March 2023, when she attended the Parsons Benefit—an event that raises scholarship funds for students enrolled at the fashion design school—in March 2023, her hair shining in her signature blonde.
Still, her most memorable transformation came six months later, when she traded her shoulder-length bob for a vibrant mohawk at London Fashion Week. Cara left no color untouched: her bangs dipped in green and pink, the tips were dark brown, and the crown was spiked in neon green. Meanwhile, the center of her head featured a leopard print design.

And for her, experimenting with her hair is all part of the fun.
“I love taking beauty risks,” she told Vogue in last September. “I feel like, in some ways, I’ve never grown up. I still love playing dress-up and exploring, whether that’s a character or gender, trying something on for a day can be fun.”
The Only Murders in the Building star isn’t the only celebrity that’s sporting a new hairstyle this summer. Chappell Roan recently joined the makeover list, as she retired her red curls for a strawberry blonde straight look.
