Taylor Fritz's girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, was at the John F. Kennedy International Airport when she captured alarming scenes from the gate hours. Morgan captured a fire getting loose at some distance.

Her first reaction after she posted about the horrific scenes was:

"That can't be good."

She could only feel how scary it might seem to passengers above who had to land and watch this fire unfold.

"Imagine looking out the window as you're landing and you just see this."

However, it appears that netizens need not worry after seeing the horrific fire scenes from the airport. John F. Kennedy Airport's official X account notified in advance that they would be doing some controlled fire exercise without any disturbance to flight operations.

"A live fire training exercise is being conducted, in which fire and smoke will be produced in a controlled fashion, away from public areas. There is no cause for alarm and there will be no impact to flight operations," the post read.

Before Taylor Fritz's US Open quarterfinal clash against Novak Djokovic, his influencer girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, did a TikTok challenge, resulting in admiration from netizens.

In her viral TikTok video, she performed the "squat & slay" challenge, balancing on a concrete railing in high heels with a drink on her head. The video went viral on the internet as Morgan made another video that interested fans.

Fritz has previously talked about Morgan's content, calling it "awesome." He said:

"I think what she did was awesome for our sport ... It got a ton of people looking at it."

Despite her popularity, Morgan has faced backlash. On an episode of The Squeeze podcast, she talked about the criticism she receives for being an unconventional tennis partner.

"I definitely got a lot of backlash, both from within the tennis community and the fans. 'I'm calling attention to myself,' people just expected me to, like, sit in the box, be relatively private," Morgan said. "Like, not capitalize on my partner's career. Came in guns blazing, I was like, 'F*** that!' People make up insane things. It's just the same misogynist, regurgitated b******t again and again." "I'm like, 'Oh, get more creative. Like, come on!' Sometimes I'm able to really use it as a motivation too, where I'm like, 'The spite in me is going to push me to do this even more,' because you're so mad about it," she added.

Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle have been together since 2020 after first meeting through a dating app.
