Cameras catch Manny Machado going bonkers on umpire in Dodgers-Padres

The San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers began a pivotal series in San Diego on Monday night. And, the fans got everything they were hoping for.

It was tied 6-6 at the end of the ninth after both teams combined for 11 runs in the first three innings of the game.

In the top of the 10th, the Dodgers scored a pair of runs via an Andy Pages double and a Tommy Edman single.

Then, the Padres had their opportunity. However, Manny Machado began the inning by striking out looking. As it turned out, Machado was not pleased with the call and went off on the home plate umpire.

Ironically, the home plate umpire was mic'd up for the game, and everything was caught on camera.

Padres manager Mike Shildt was also seen coming into the frame to voice his displeasure with the call. A walk would've had two runners on with no outs, but instead, it was one out and one out in a huge moment between National League West foes.

The Padres would score a run via a Jackson Merrill RBI double on the next batter, but the comeback fell just short as Gavin Sheets and Xander Bogaerts ended the game with outs.

Nonetheless, this Machado clip will likely be viewed a lot, especially when the league goes to the robot umpire conversation ahead of next season.
