A Bay Area rapper has ignited a firestorm after a viral clip of his latest track surfaced that includes calling Adolf Hitler and Jeffrey Epstein “heaven-sent.”

The rapper, LaRussell — real name LaRussell Dwayne Thomas — posted the snippet to Instagram last week.

In it, he raps: “Even the devil was heaven‑sent… Epstein too… Adolf too.” The track then circles back to the repeated refrain: “We all heaven‑sent.”

The lyrics have left listeners stunned and critics fuming. Social media lit up with comments condemning the comparison of a Nazi dictator and a pedophile to a spiritual concept.

One user wrote, “This is beyond tone-deaf. You cannot put Hitler and Epstein in the same category as humanity in any positive framing.”

LaRussell, a 31-year-old independent rapper from Vallejo known for his provocative lyrics, doubled down in follow-up posts.

He insisted the track isn’t praise, but a philosophical reflection on creation: even the darkest figures, he argues, were “made by God,” he says.

Despite his explanation, outrage continues to swirl, with critics insisting that invoking history’s most notorious figures in this way is a bridge too far.

The clip, which has been widely shared across Instagram and TikTok, has already racked up millions of views, proving that in the age of viral music, a few shocking bars can spark a full-blown cultural firestorm overnight.
