Caitlyn Jenner Makes Rare Return in Explosive Kardashians Season 7 Trailer
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner pulled off a gold medal-worthy surprise.
The I Am Cait alum made her first ever appearance on The Kardashians after her ex-wife—with whom she shares Kendall Jenner, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 28—invited her to have one last family dinner at their former Calabasas home before she put it on the market.
"Your Dad and I bought this house many years ago," Kris told Kendall and Kylie, as well as Kourtney Kardashian, 46, Kim Kardashian, 45, Khloe Kardashian, 41, and Rob Kardashian, 38, as they held hands around the dinner table during the Oct. 30 episode, "and I think one person isn’t here that should be here to say goodbye with us to this house."
It was at that point that Caitlyn walked into house and surprised the group, who had no idea that she would be joining them.
"I was not expecting this tonight," Khloe said in a confessional. "I'm just waiting for another ex-husband to walk through the door!"
It was then that Kris—who shared her eldest kids with late ex Robert Kardashian Sr.—declared that it wouldn't be the same" if the Olympian wasn't there to say goodbye to their former home, so "it was only right" for her to include her.
"Come join so we can say goodbye to this beautiful house where we made so many beautiful memories," the 69-year-old said to the group. "I was just saying, we bought this house for Kendall and Kylie and all the kids to grow up in, and we were so excited to make so many special memories."
The show then cut to the family matriarch explaining to the camera ahead of the meal how Caitlyn's cameo came to be.

"About an hour ago, I called Caitlyn and I said, ‘What are you doing?’ And of course, she said, ‘I’m eating dinner and watching Fox News,'" Kris said through tears. "I said, ‘Of course you are.’ And, I said, ‘Would you like to come say goodbye to El Dorado Meadow with us and be with your kids?’ And she said, ‘I’m on my way.’"
Kendall was pleasantly surprised that her mom included her dad in the special occasion, saying she "definitely wasn't expecting" Caitlyn to be there.
"Just knowing the relationship that my mom has with my dad...not that it’s bad, it’s just distant," she explained. "My mom’s had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings in the past, so it makes me happy that Kylie and I didn’t have to ask for my dad to be invited and that my mom just thought it was a good idea.”
The model added that she has to "compartmentalize" her "good relationship" with her dad, 76, because she can get "frustrated with her with certain things" because they "have completely different views on things."

"But, other than that, I always want to include her," Kendall added. "I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family, and I know that she gets lonely…At the end of the day, it’s really nice to have her around."
Kylie was a bit more succinct in her thoughts on her parents' unexpected reunion, and expressed hope for what it could mean for the future.
"I don't know if my parents will ever be best friends ever again," she said in a confessional, "but this is definitely a great first step."
After sharing a meal together and swapping memories, Caitlyn and Kris shared one more moment together before they parted ways, with Caitlyn joking that Kris "owes me one."

Kris, who was married to Caitlyn for 22 years before their 2014 breakup, reflected on the night as a whole in another confessional in which she expressed gratitude for everyone being able to get together.
"What a great night," she said. "I'm so happy that we were all here and we were able to say goodbye to a house that brought us so much joy and love; blood, sweat and tears; highs and lows—and that Caitlyn was there. It's been a really long road, but it was Caitlyn's house too."
