Sophie Cunningham usually isn't afraid to speak her mind.
The Indiana Fever veteran, now in her second season playing alongside Caitlin Clark, even has her own podcast, in addition to active social media channels. She has plenty of space to share what she's thinking.
That has Fever fans wondering what Cunningham feels about the latest Clark drama.
Clark was seen getting yelled at on the bench by Fever coach Stephanie White over the weekend.
The issue seemed to be with Clark's defense, but the superstar also wasn't getting very much help from the refs and their whistles. She appeared to be called for a couple of soft fouls during the loss to the Portland Fire.
And with all of that in mind, some of Clark's biggest fans want Cunningham to speak up:
Sophie Cunningham where you at ?
If I had to bet on which Indiana Fever player would get a fine for speaking up for Caitlin, it would be you ...
Kindve disappointed ...
Trashing the Wnba refs should be easy work.

As the post above references, any negative talk about the refs could get Cunningham a fine. She has traveled down that road before, but it's not clear she would want to again.
Fever guard Lexie Hull had a chance this week already to address what happened with Clark and White, essentially dismissing it as something that happens in the heat of competition.
Odds are, Cunningham would say a similar thing. But given her prominence among Fever fans, it makes sense that Cunningham might still reveal what she's thinking about all of this at some point.
