Caitlin Clark is one of the most prolific players in the WNBA. She has helped to get more eyes on the sport from his tenacity, high-tempo play and her ability to make a shot from almost anywhere on the court.
It feels like Clark has to do everything for Indiana, and she plays so fast and boldly that sometimes it catches up to her. The star guard can get wild with her passes that her teammates aren't expecting, and she gets tagged with the turnovers.

The Fever had a tough early-season test against the Liberty on Saturday. New York is the defending WNBA champs and sports a starting lineup with Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones and Natasha Cloud, who create a tough matchup for whatever team they face.
It was a big game for Indiana, but Clark struggled to get going. She had problems with turnovers and shooting from deep, and the game ended when Clark tried to get off a game-winner, but a foul wasn't called and the Fever had a narrow loss.

Clark's 3-point shooting woes
Clark is known for her ability to be a shooting threat whenever she crosses half-court. She isn't always the most accurate shooter, but that doesn't stop her from filling out a highlight reel. Dating back to her college days, Clark had made at least one three-pointer in 140 consecutive games. She finished a game this week against the Dream, going 0-5 from beyond the arc.
In the first half against the defending champion Liberty, Clark went 0-5 from three-point range. She is definitely having trouble tuning her range finder, and it has hurt the Fever with that being the star guard's specialty when shooting.
Clark finally hit her first three-pointer of the game with 1:04 left in the third quarter. She then nailed a long buzzer-beater to end the frame. Clark started the game 0-7 from deep, but the final two she hit in the quarter were massive. She then cooled off and finished a combined 2-12 from beyond the arc.

Clark's turnover concerns
Clark likes trying to find teammates in tight windows and is liable to fling passes when her teammates aren't always expecting the ball. Plus, she is often the passer on inbounds plays, which leads to her having a higher chance of turnovers.
Still, it's a bad combination when you are struggling to effectively score on offense and you turn it over. That makes it harder for your team to stay in ballgames.
Clark had four turnovers in the first quarter. She had two more in the second and three in the third quarter for a total of nine. That already tied the second-most in a game in her WNBA career. It went into the scorebook as a block, but the final play of the game could have also been ruled a steal, which would have been Clark's 10th turnover of the game.
