Angel Reese flops as Sky suffer another blowout loss vs. Fever

The Chicago Sky were handed a humbling defeat by the Indiana Fever on their home court Saturday as fans at the United Center witnessed Angel Reese and her teammates falter in a lopsided 79-52 loss. Adding to the sting, the Fever dominated despite being without their superstar Caitlin Clark.

This marked the Sky’s second blowout loss to Indiana this season, following a 93-58 drubbing in their season opener. Reese once again struggled offensively, finishing with just six points on 2 of 7 shooting. While she did grab 12 rebounds, she ended the game with a -20 plus-minus rating.

The defeat dropped Chicago to a 2-5 record on the season. To make matters worse, veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot exited the game with a non-contact injury, dealing another blow to a team already searching for answers.
