The Indiana Fever injury curse that started with Caitlin Clark has truly swept the franchise. After five season-ending injuries that cut the team roster in half, the curse spread to the coaching staff just last month.

Kristin Moore, who is the Sr. Operations Coordinator for the team, was the latest name on the list. She tore her Achilles tendon while playing basketball, and posed for a picture with Porter and Clark found the perfect moment to sneak into the picture at $78 million team facility [per team update].

In her Instagram Story post, Bri Lewerke posted a picture of Indiana coaches Keith Porter and Kristin Moore, both posing in their orthopedic boots while they made hilarious animated faces.

Caitlin Clark, who has herself been nursing her groin injury, photobombed the picture. Lewerke hilariously pointed to Clark's face in between the coaches, smiling with her tilted head.

Lewerke captioned the post with a fitting three words.

"Fever nursing home."

Moore later reposted the post on her Instagram Story and captioned the post with a few words that would probably resonate with most of the Indiana fans.

"Fever curse is real," she wrote in the caption.

Kristin Moore reposted another post from Lewerke, also featuring the team's athletic trainer, Maria Witte. Lewerke wrote in the caption that Moore, who posed with the knee scooter in the picture, tore her Achilles tendon while playing basketball.

"The Fever injury curse continues," Lewerke wrote in the caption.

Moore reposted the post on her IG Story and poked fun at herself in the caption.

"turns out this Indy woman in fact cannot still hoop," she wrote.

During the 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby all had to exit the season with injuries. In early September, player development coach Keith Porter also tore his Achilles. With Moore's addition, the list has only grown.

Indiana Fever hopes to return fully healthy next season with Caitlin Clark

Despite some of their top players out of action, the Indiana Fever reached the WNBA semifinals, shy just one game from reaching the Finals. However, the team is hoping to return with a fully healthy roster in the 2026 WNBA season.

Caitlin Clark is already in the last stage of her recovery. Both Aari McDonald and Sophie Cunningham would also be ready to go next season, given that Cunningham stays with the team.

With a healthy roster, this Indiana team will be a dangerous team and the biggest threat to the Las Vegas Aces' title defense.
