Caitlin Clark chooses relaxed look for Fever’s playoff arrival in Las Vegas

Caitlin Clark’s first arrival of the 2026 WNBA playoffs came with a relaxed look and a demanding assignment waiting inside the arena.

The Indiana Fever guard arrived for Sunday’s Game 1 against the Las Vegas Aces in a gray zip-up jacket over a cropped top, paired with dark pants. Athlete Vanity shared a photo of Clark before tipoff, adding her to a run of Fever arrival posts that also featured Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham.

Clark kept the outfit simple for a day with plenty already surrounding it. Indiana entered the postseason as the No. 6 seed, and its first opponent was the defending champion. The Fever had beaten Las Vegas twice in three regular-season meetings, but a best-of-three playoff series offered a much smaller margin for error.

The setting also brought back an unfinished story. Indiana pushed the Aces to a deciding fifth game in last year’s semifinals, then lost in overtime. Clark was sidelined for that series. Sunday gave her an opportunity to face Las Vegas in the postseason rather than watch her teammates do it without her.

A major test for Indiana’s offense

Clark averaged 22.3 points during the regular season. Alongside Kelsey Mitchell, she formed the highest-scoring duo in WNBA history, according to the league’s first-round preview. Indiana averaged a league-record 96 points per game.

Las Vegas can answer with plenty of offense of its own. A’ja Wilson led the league in scoring, and the Aces won their final seven regular-season games. Game 1 therefore presented a test of whether the Fever could create the pace and scoring chances that made them so dangerous all year.

The challenge is on the visitors

Clark’s arrival photo offered a quieter opening to that challenge. Her gray jacket and dark pants made for a straightforward pregame look. Once she reached the court, the focus turned to how Indiana’s offense would handle a champion it had already beaten twice, and which had ended the Fever’s season a year earlier.
