Burnout Syndrome expands its love triangle and tension as Jira’s connections with Kor and Pheem intensify

Burnout Syndrome follows Jira, a struggling artist played by Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat, who loses his job and slips into burnout. In an attempt to cope, he stops by a bar, where he ends up meeting Pheem, portrayed by Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak, an approachable IT specialist. Their connection is instant and they exchange contact details with the hope of building a relationship.

Jira’s situation changes again when Pheem introduces him to Kor. Kor, acted by Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn, lives as a withdrawn businessman who avoids social interaction. He needs someone to attend meetings on his behalf.

This leads Jira into an unusual job where he becomes the representative for Kor’s business dealings, meeting clients and acting as the face of a man who prefers to stay in the shadows. His new role brings both opportunity and chaos, especially as his working dynamic with Kor becomes entangled with his growing bond with Pheem.

Jira’s distant, self-contained nature captures Kor’s attention. For Jira, Kor’s mystery becomes a source of artistic inspiration, pushing him to sketch the male form in a way that feels more alive than his previous work.

The situation becomes increasingly complex as Jira navigates his feelings for both Kor and Pheem, leaving him unsure about which love reflects something real. The cast also includes Amy Tasorn Klinniem as Ing, AJ Chayapol Chuthamas as Mawin, and To Tinphan Tantui as Ben.

In the 3 episodes of Burnout Syndrome, released so far, Jira faces emotional exhaustion and professional challenges which shape his journey. This includes his first assignment of attending event as Mr K, where he successfully finalizes a deal with a client named Mr Thames despite several awkward encounters.

Meanwhile, Kor speaks to a psychiatrist about his chronic insomnia and his difficulty interacting with others. However, he admits that Jira is surprisingly easy for him to understand.

Pheem on the other hand faces his own crisis when Kor reveals that the entire IT department will soon lose their jobs, adding pressure to his daily life. Later, after a tiring day for both of them, Jira and Pheem meet again at Burnout Bar, where Pheem kisses Jira, marking a shift in their relationship.

The story steadily expands from simple introductions into a deeper look at the emotional and professional tensions pulling Jira in different directions. His ties to Kor and Pheem tighten, making the relationships between the three increasingly layered as the series progresses.
