The Buffalo Bills are still chasing an elusive Super Bowl.
This season, they've put together a strong roster in the hopes of finally getting over the hump. But there's always room to improve.
That's the premise put forth by Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox in a new article featuring key trade predictions that may still happen before Week 1 gets here. And he's got the Bills making a big move.
Knox predicts the Bills will trade for New York Giants edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, who was the No. 5 overall pick in 2022.

In return, Buffalo would send the Giants a 2026 second-round pick and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones.
"Partnering Thibodeaux with Joey Bosa, Gregory Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa would give the Bills a potent pass-rushing rotation, however," writes Knox. "And Buffalo could look to offload pricey defensive tackle DaQuan Jones as part of the deal. Dumping the final year of Jones' contract would save $7.8 million in cap space while making room for offseason additions Larry Ogunjobi, T.J. Sanders and Deone Walker—though Ogunjobi faces a six-game suspension."
Knox also breaks down why Thibodeaux makes more sense than Micah Parsons. The Bills don't really have the cap space to pull off a Parsons trade and then sign him to a record-setting extension.
Of course, in the NFL, the salary cap finds a way to be very malleable.

It still makes more sense that Buffalo would maybe take the mid-tier swing here on Thibodeaux.
The former Oregon star has played three NFL seasons and put up 21 sacks. That includes a career-best 11.5 in 2023.
Thibodeaux missed time last season and appeared in 12 games, finishing with 5.5 sacks.
He wouldn't have to be the lone star in Buffalo. Rousseau, Epenesa and Bosa would join forces with Thibodeaux to form a great unit.
It's at least worth the thought for the Bills.
