Buffalo Bills caught a crazy random Scott Norwood stray on Prime’s TNF broadcast

1 hour ago 3

The Amazon Prime broadcast of the Buffalo Bills' Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins was clearly saving the clip.

Because when Matt Prater jogged out to attempt a game-clinching field goal with the Bills already up seven, TNF's broadcast turned to the most infamous moment in Buffalo sports history.

Scott Norwood, wide right.

They genuinely played that video, of the Bills kicker missing what would've been a game-winning kick (in the first of their four consecutive Super Bowl losses).

There was no reason to do it.

They did it anyway.

Just an absolutely random, unnecessary stray.

Frankly, a Week 3 game doesn't warrant any type of comparison to that anyway. Not to mention that Prater was kicking simply to ice the game, not to tie it or win it.

Prater's kick began to fade a bit, giving a worry of the same outcome, but then it hung on comfortably.

Announcer Al Michaels summed it up: "Not wide right," he said.

But why in the world was that needed?

Bills fans certainly didn't enjoy it.
