The Milwaukee Bucks could still make a few moves during the remainder of the offseason, but it'll likely have to come in a trade. The Bucks aren't exactly filled with assets, but if they're willing to move on from that 2031 first-round pick, it's possible they could get a star in return.
The Bucks' long-term outlook might not be as great as it currently is, despite the likelihood that they'll still be a decent team at that point, if Giannis Antetokounmpo is still playing at the level he is.
But because of Antetokounmpo, there's a good chance the Bucks will want to continue to improve, as they've continued to do over the past few years.
Sports Illustrated recently proposed an idea for them to do just that, pitching an idea for them to send multiple players to the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks for Tyler Herro.

Hawks receive: Andre Jackson Jr.
Heat receive: Kyle Kuzma, AJ Green, unprotected 2031 first-round pick (via MIL), and unprotected 2032 first-round pick swap
Bucks receive: Tyler Herro
“This is potentially the final all-in move for the Bucks as they try to keep Giannis. Herro becomes the leader of the backcourt and while a team's upside is limited if Herro is their best player, he is in a different role here. Herro teams up with Giannis and Myles Turner to try and compete in the Eastern Conference this season and get back to the NBA Finals. Giving up their picks is tough, but getting Herro and getting off of Kuzma might just be worth it,” Jackson Caudell wrote.
Getting Herro would be an intriguing piece for the Bucks, but giving up two first-round picks, AJ Green, and more might be tough to justify in some sense.
Of course, Herro is a better player than Green, Kyle Kuzma, and Andre Jackson, but Green really fits what the Bucks are looking to do and that can’t go unnoticed.
