BTS Kicks Off 2026 Festa With Adorable ‘Family Photo’ Celebrating Group’s 13th Anniversary

BTS is 13! And to celebrate, the boy band kicked off Festa — its annual lineup of activities commemorating its anniversary — by sharing new family photos.

The Instagram snaps — which dropped on Thursday morning (June 4) in Korea — show RM, Jung Kook, Jimin, Jin, SUGA, j-hope and V dressed in business casual while hanging out together in the sunshine on a lawn. Others feature the septet goofing off on a couch inside and staring down the camera while assembled on a staircase.

The Bangtan Boys also shared a video capturing how the photos came together. Between camera clicks, the members can’t help but crack up at each other’s comments.

BTS had previously teased that the photos would mark the start of this year’s Festa, the schedule of which went live on May 31. Next on the activity list is a performance video for ARIRANG single “Hooligan” coming Friday (June 5), followed by other special releases.

Also part of the 13th-anniversary celebrations is BTS’ upcoming concert in Busan, South Korea, on June 12 and 13. The latter will be available for fans to watch live in theaters worldwide.

Festa 2026 is a particularly special one, given that it’s the first anniversary celebration since BTS launched its comeback earlier this year by dropping the Billboard 200-topping album ARIRANG and embarking on a global tour. In recent years, the members have been performing mandatory military service in South Korea during their anniversary month, although Jin found a way to make 2024 special anyway by hugging 1,000 fans at an in-person Festa event.
