College football can't come fast enough, which means it's one day closer to the start of the season and the beginning of Bryce Underwood's Michigan football career.
Underwood's anticipation to perform at the next level is well-documented. A five-star recruit who initially had his sights set on LSU opted to flip his commitment to the Wolverines and fix the quarterback woes that plagued the team nearly all season long.
Shifting the focus to this coming year, Underwood has been penciled in by several college football experts to start. This includes SN's Bill Bender, who wrote Tuesday morning that he was hesitant to put Underwood on his top 25 quarterbacks list given his inexperience.
That said, Underwood landed at No. 25.
Nevertheless, Bender concluded that Underwood will get his time to ball out in Ann Arbor. But, it's a matter of when, not if.
"Look for Underwood to emerge by the second half of the season," Bender wrote.

Whether this means Mikey Keene wins the job to begin the year remains to be seen, or if Michigan can beat Ohio State again, but it appears Underwood will see the field at the very least.
Coach Sherrone Moore said recently that Underwood is already on the right track.
"I mean, I think to just get to talk to him, to be around him, to grow with him," Moore told Adam Breneman. "The kid is an amazing human being. He is extremely selfless. He's extremely humble. And all he wants to do is work. And that's all he wants to do."
Given Moore's words of wisdom, it seems the relationship is going well thus far. To help his case even further by winning over the Michigan fanbase, Underwood shot down rumors of possibly returning to LSU in a single tweet.
Either way, the Wolverines should be a team to watch this fall with Underwood as a key vocal point. If the Wolverines live up to expectations is anyone's guess, but what is apparent is they are relevant and should be for years to come.
