Hollywood actor Bryan Cranston's bold trade proposal for the Los Angeles Dodgers targets a bold overhaul of the outfield for a defensive upgrade and offensive consistency. The Dodgers primarily fielded Michael Conforto in right, Andy Pages in center and Teoscar Hernadez at left in their outfield.

While Cranston acknowledged Pages' defensive prowess, he found offensive inconsistencies in the outfielder's defense. Similarly, Cranston praised Hernandez's offense, but called him a defensive liability at right field. Meanwhile, he saw Conforto as a failed one-year low-cost experiment.

Therefore, Cranston, a diehard Dodgers fan, suggested bold trade ideas for the 2025 World Series champions during an interview with reporter David Vassegh on Wednesday.

"We trade Teoscar to the Guardians for Steven Kwan," Bryan Cranston said (Timestamp: 20:55). "Put Kwan in left. "I think the Guardians would go for this because I think their five outfielders are all left-handed, and they don’t have much power, and so they need a power right-handed bat." "The reason I say that is, get Steven Kwan for a couple years, the two top Dodger farmhands are both outfielders," he added. "That might really make a statement, but not this year and maybe not next year. It's going to be maybe 2027."

While Kwan is a three-time Gold Glove winner, he is a contact hitter without much power. Cranston knows this and therefore provided his next trade idea to balance the offense and defense.

"So, what you do then is you move Pages to right and make a trade with the Twins for Buxton," he added. "You trade Alex Call, Ha-Seong Kim, and a pitching prospect. You get three more years of Buxton, who’s an excellent fielder and a big bat. Okay. You got three years of him. You’re going to have to give them Jackson Ferris or Mike Soroka."

Buxton currently has three years left in the seven-year, $100 million contract he signed in 2021. He is set to make $15 million each for the next three years.

Meanwhile, Mike Soroka, the Dodgers' No. 5 prospect, an outfielder, is with the Great Lakes Loons in High A. Jacson Ferris, the Dodgers' No. 6 prospect, a right-handed pitcher, is with the Tulsa Drillers in Double-A.

Bryan Cranston proposes an unlikely blockbuster Dodgers trade

In the same conversation with David Vassegh for AM 570 LA Sports, Bryan Craston proposed a trade idea for the Dodgers to acquire reigning AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal.

"Here is a total fantasy, never-will-happen trade," Bryan Cranston said (Timestamp: 25:58) Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers for Emmet Sheehan and Justin Wrobleski."

The trade idea surprised Vassegh, but Cranston pointed out that Skubal is in his walk year. As such, he said Tigers should be smart about it, as Sheehan and Wrobleski are proven major league pitchers.
